Life Coach
life Coach and Psychologist what is the difference
If you have considered hiring a life coach or a Psychologist and are wondering which one may be best for you
I have written down the differences so you can know whats right for you
Life coaching is the process of helping people identify and achieve personal goals through developing skills and attitudes that lead to self-empowerment. Life coaching general deals with issues such as work-life balance and career changes, and often occurs outside the workplace setting, the coaching sessions normally go for 1 hour and focus on goal setting whilst addressing mental hinderances towards personal goals.
I recommend a life coach if you are not dealing with trauma and or fears and anxiety around your life and goals as life coaches are not qualified to be able to work with Psychological issues. A life coach can be great for setting goals as long as you have effectively achieved a similar goal previously
A Psychologist studies normal and abnormal mental states, perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and social processes and behaviour by experimenting with, and observing, interpreting, and recording how individuals relate to one another and to their environments. Some treatments a Psychologist can use, is cognitive behavioural therapy in which i feel is a outdated therapy when it comes to working with the mind, if you would like to learn more about what a life coach is as well as what Mind Resonance coaching is, you can learn about a effective new modality that accelerates results
